1. Zero Personal Document Retention
VisaChecklist.guide operates under a strict privacy-by-design policy. We never ask you to upload, transmit, or submit sensitive immigration records, scanned passport copies, bank statements, or identification numbers. All checklists are purely educational and interactive on the client side.
2. Client-Side Checklist State
When you tick checkboxes on any visa requirements page to mark your documents as prepared, that state remains solely inside your web browser’s local session memory. It is never logged on our servers or transmitted to any third-party advertisers.
3. External Sovereign Portal Links
Our guides link directly to official sovereign immigration portals (e.g. gov.uk, canada.ca, travel.state.gov, france-visas.gouv.fr). Once you navigate away to a sovereign site, you are subject to the specific privacy and data protection policies of that foreign government authority.
4. Cookies and Analytical Tracking
We do not use tracking cookies for behavioral profiling or ad-retargeting. Standard aggregate server telemetry (such as anonymized HTTP request counts and static asset delivery latency) may be logged by hosting infrastructure for performance and DDoS protection.
